Madden 100 Club?

This is the root of the problem that Madden has with its hardcore community. Too many times its marketing gets ahead of its accuracy. Now we're allowing fans to vote on which players should get a 100 rating in a group of selected attributes? I don't even have to look at the roster to tell you how many of these guys deserve 100 ratings..

 How about NONE?

This is a perfect case of how trying to market to casuals can ruin gameplay. Madden's ratings have been too high for some time, there's no way on God's green earth they should be going higher. Sports games at their core function from ratings. We've gone on at length about how too-high ratings are the reason behind 65 yard field goals (with room to spare) Running backs who can't be tackled,WR catches in triple coverage and QBs who are too accurate. We've even started to re-rate the entire league CORRECTLY, for crying out loud.

Now this...sigh. Next year we'd like to see a Community Setting where we can re-rate players to our liking so that we can see a much more realistic football game in the future.
