Top Features we'd LOVE to see in 2K (Part 3)

Here's Part three of our multi-part series regarding some of the features we'd like to see 2K Implement into the series to enhance gameplay. While few can argue 2K's gameplay is first-rate and the best any sports title has EVER done, there are still places it could improve and give us an even better experience in 2012. Use the link below for the third part of our list.

1. More Legendary Teams - If you hadn't heard already, Classic Teams are a BIG hit. There's nothing like getting to play with some of the dominating and polarizing teams of yesteryear and getting to appreciate and reminisce about how good some of them were. It also gives us the chance to play out some of the matchups debated for years about who could beat who. Barkley's (provided he allows his likeness) 93' Suns are always a popular choice, as are the 01' Sixers. Walton's Blazers, The 98' Pacers, 99' Knicks and no one will ever forget how good the 04' Pistons were. We can only imagine if everyone exclaims to the television when playing these matchups as much as we do, we can hear the "You can guard him!" and "hand down, man down!" from sea to shining sea.

2. Tangible Strategy - We'll never believe any of the strategy options have an effect on gameplay as long as we can max them all out at 100. Tell us, how can we have the ability to fast break and crash boards simultaneously? Give us a total of 100 points to divide among our strategic options, then make them impact gameplay more. Tight Defense? Deny Ball? Let us see the benefits with our defenders crowding and denying the offensive player, more deflections, steals and "in your face D" and the consequences of higher fatigue drain and more fouls called. Fronting in the post on defense? We'd like to be able to select this type of D if we don't feel the opposing passers can throw the lob pass. In a nutshell, provide us with more Pros and Cons based on the strategies we use.

3. NBA Greatest Moments - We made the mistake of watching the NBA's "Where Amazing Happens" clips on Youtube recently. We've always wanted the ability to try and recreate some of the NBA's greatest moments. Jordan over Ehlo in Cleveland? Sean Elliot's tip-toe 3-pointer against Portland in 99' must still haunt Portland Fans as much as the Laker comeback of Game 7 in the 2000 Playoffs. Has there ever been a moment like LJ's 4-point play in The Garden? Or Magic's baby-hook to beat Boston in 87? I'll never forget Horry's three in Game 6 against Sacramento. We'd love to try and recreate or prevent these plays in dramatic fashion. These could be well-done by providing some of the history and significance of the moment with a brief synopsis or even video. The NBA has some of the greatest singular moments in sports history-give us the chance to relive some of them.

4. Offensive Rebounding Slider - When we play offline we get killed on the offensive boards (and in most 50-50 situations) because the AI reacts at light-speed. Watching replays shows us that AI players react to a loose ball faster than any player on the court and they don't have to "gather" like users before pursuing an offensive rebound. In a nutshell, the CPU has the unfair ability to get offensive rebounds at will--this makes us frown because this should be specific to scrappy teams or atleast ones known for hustle. We have the CPU offensive rebound slider at zero and STILL get outrebounded at a five to one clip. We just want a slider that works.
